If you thought the music and dance "season" of Chennai was over with most of the sabhas winding up their programmes, you were wrong!!

COFFEE?Just a peep into a 1000 sq. ft tastefully done up coffee hang out called "COFFEE?" will tell you why!! Known for its small sweet nothings scattered all around the place, "COFFEE?" adds its bit to the music season by showcasing some of the fine works of K.Ravi Shankar's photographs of dancers and musicians as they were caught in the lens while performing. Right from the very expressive eyes of Shubha Mudgal to the ever so graceful Alarmel Valli to a very pensive Shivamani to a very involved Bombay Jayashri, Ravi Shankar's images have managed to capture the right moments!!

Bhavesh of "COFFEE?" is quite happy at the way things are going for him considering the fact that "COFFEE?" is just 5 months old and is attracting a very mixed crowd of the young and old alike!!

Located almost as soon as you enter the Music College at Adayar at #10 Greenways Road, R.A.Puram, "COFFEE?" offers a rich variety of Irish, Thai, Turkish and Hawaiian and of course the South Indian filter coffee. They also offer something exotic like a choice of ice-cream served on a coffee base, garnished with nuts and candies aptly called Lazy Floats!!

Organic coffee is also on the box shaped menu and as a dieter's privilege, you can order your coffee with low calorie sweetener instead of sugar! Short eats for those who are looking for quick bites are also available from popcorn to cheese toast!

COFFEE?The decor, the music, the pin-up board that lures people to just pause... have a glance and of course the book stand that displays the best sellers that you can either browse through or buy, lend a very ethno-chic stamp to this classy coffee locale.

Every month, a new artiste whose work will be showcased, new books to browse, new artifacts to tempt the casual shopper and an accompaniment of a hot or cold cup of coffee makes one want to drop in at "COFFEE?" again and again!!

So coffee in Chennai ahs shed its known image of steel "davra and tumbler" to a very ethnic looking cup and saucer served on glass top tables with sheets of tic tac toe/ naughts and crosses to keep you and your friend occupied!

Just drop by and if you're lucky you might still get to see some of your favourite musicians (caught in the lens)!!
