| Shri. K. Viramanikandan
Sri K.Viramanikandan, founder of Jai Ganapathy Arts, is a diploma holder from the Chettinad School of Arts. He assets over a decades experience in this field. At present 85 students are currently being trained under the aegis of "Shri Jaya ganapathy School of Arts" with over 200 students in the past.The dedicated training is imparted individually at the residence of each student. Strong ethos, commitment and dedication inspire many people of all ages to join the school. His dedication to this form of painting reflects his keen desire to revive this dying form of art. He has embarked upon the art promotion by holding annual exhibitions of the paintings by himself and his students. His paintings are saught after by the people of all ages. The first exhibition executed by his students was held at Dharmaprakash Kalyana mandapam in Janaury 1998 followed by the second at the Andra Social & Cultural Academy in February 1999. The third exhibition showcased about 200 Tanjore paintings crafted by his students at Siva Sakthi Kalyana Mandapam during January 2000. The third exhibition would be held at the Best Seller Hall, 43/1, Besant Avenue, Adyar, Chennai-600 020 on March 24th and 25th 2001. | ||
