Together with Cuyahoga Community College, CCA is now engaged in the creation of a ballet on the interdependence between nature and man. It has been inspired by the renowned author Shel Silverstein's book, The Giving Tree. Based on a simple, but profound story set in an Indian village, this production will combine elements of theatre, mime and classical and folk dance. The company will consist of fourteen dancers accomplished in both classical and folk dance, men and women who will bring their skill and vitality to this unique production. The dance will be choreographed by G.Narendra who has worked for long with the CCA as dancer, teacher and choreographer. The music will be composed by V.S.Narasimhan.
