These include Mangalgiri cottons with exquisite "kasuti" embroidery which is typical of the Dharwar region in Karnataka, Bengal cottons with "kantha" work done by the skilled craftsmen of Shantiniketan and Kalamkari - a typical art form of Andhra Pradesh which finds expression in silk as well as cotton.
